Designer Chitose Abe does it again! Subtly streamlining the top trends into a wearable medley of perfection, Sacai’s a/w 2010 collection looks set to surmount Spring’s must have fan-pleated kilts and feather light shirting.

The softly softly palette of smudgy charcoal, ash and oyster greys punctuated with the occasional butter-cream neutral or flash of blue, neatly binds together the profusion of textures and layering; ruffles, leather, lace, tulle, plaid…results in a collection which is artful, delicate and oh so intriguing.

(I’m totally crushing on this duffle-meets-ruffle coat; utility meets understated frivolity…sheer genius!)
