Boy oh boy am I excited about today’s look!! It’s wow, it’s wicked, it’s fricking AWESOME! And it’s by one of my all time favourite designers: the great, the phenomenal, the King of cartoon couture himself, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac – aka JC/DC…
Words almost fail me at the sight of this jewel encrusted extravaganza…the unmitigated wanton flamboyance is quite literally stunning. Oh Caroline! You lucky, lucky girl you!!
Those surely have to be the epaulettes to end all epaulettes – Balmain’s shoulders will hide their tiny tassels and feeble fringing in shame – and awe – when presented with these beauties. An opulent, dandified tour de force of a jacket fit for a punk princess, and those shoes…overlayed in what can only be described as treasure have got to be the very cornucopia of cool.
